Instead of arriving in her cap and gown immediately, Rachel chose a beautiful ivory satin dress that felt timeless, elegant, and sophisticated. The soft neutral color photographed beautifully against the greenery of Sacramento State's campus while creating a polished look that complemented her future career in business and finance.

The Sacramento State Sign and Arboretum
We began the session at the iconic Sacramento State sign located near the entrance to campus. This location is one of the most recognizable landmarks for students and serves as a perfect way to commemorate years spent at the university.
Just steps away from the sign, we continued into the Sacramento State Arboretum, where towering trees, lush greenery, and natural pathways created a beautiful backdrop for portraits. The arboretum offers one of the most scenic environments on campus and provides a timeless setting for graduation photography year-round.
The Student Union Fountain
One of the highlights of the session took place near the fountain outside the Student Union.
The sparkling water combined with the evening sunlight created a dreamy atmosphere that added movement, texture, and light to Rachel's portraits. These images became some of the most elegant photographs from the session and perfectly captured the excitement of graduation season.
The Science Complex
We also stopped near Sacramento State's Science Complex, incorporating architecture and campus landmarks into the gallery.
